The log rolling community was discouraged to learn that ESPN was "postponing" its award-winning outdoor event, the Great Outdoor Games. Through its development of the GOG, ESPN has proven that log rolling has the legs to get strong ratings, so the announcement was a surprise to many.  Whatever the reasons behind the decision, we hope that ESPN is serious about revamping the Games and that log rolling will be front and center. The International Log Rolling Foundation wil continue its work to develop log rollers world wide, providing exciting television content for broadcasters everywhere.
